World Pipe Band Championships 2012 wins major award

An army of staff and volunteers from Glasgow Life, Glasgow City Council and the RSPBA are involved in making sure the World Pipe Band Championships is one of the best events in Scotland's cultural calendar. Last week, their efforts were celebrated at the Scottish Event Awards, in association with Event Scotland, where the Worlds won in the Best Traditional Event category.
