A vacancy has arisen for the post of Peripatetic Instrumental Teacher with responsibility for Bass and Tenor drum tuition within the Pipe Band at George Watson’s College. This post has 10 hours of individual teaching and 4 hours of group tuition per week.

The successful candidate will be committed, enthusiastic and will possess the ability to teach the full range of abilities from beginner to Juvenile band level. They will be expected to maintain and improve the high standards already in place within the bass sections of all of the school bands, in support of the four permanent members of staff within the Pipe Band.

The closing date is 23.59hrs on Thursday 29 May 2014

Interviews will be held at the Music School, George Watson’s College, Edinburgh. EH10 5EG
