The edition of the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association's official magazine 'Pipe Band' is now available as a free download.

Click on the link on the left of this page to download your personal copy. In this edition you will find a major feature on ensemble judging by Alistair Aitken OBE, retired senior RSPBA adjudicator. You will also find a number of photographs and comment on the 2014 World Solo Drumming won by Inveraray Pipe Band's leading tip, Steven McWhirter. In addition the magazine has all the dates for the 2015 pipe band season beginning in May. From Headquarters in Washington Street we have details of the deal which secured the Worlds in Glasgow for the next six years. Finally, in the 'All Our Yesterdays' column, there is a look back to the successful history of the City of Edinburgh Police Pipe Band (later to become Lothian and Border Police PB), news from the Branches, and a tribute to former Grade 1 drummer, Ronnie Annan. The next edition of the magazine is published on April 1. It is produced quarterly by PP Publishing for the Association, and the editor is Robert Wallace. He also edits pipingpress.com.
