Fire at RSPBA HQ

Details

Media Center Image

There was a fire on the top floor of 45 Washington Street on Friday 10th March around 4am.

The fire was put out with some damage to the roof above the hall, but only minor water damage to the office accommodation.

Currently there are no services into the building so phones etc are all down.

Our Chief Executive Ian Embelton has been there since 6am and everyone is getting on with what they can to tidy up.

The AGM scheduled for Saturday 11th March will go ahead as planned.

Best regards
John
