To round off our celebratory year of 900th Anniversary events, Stirling Council would like to invite pipe bands, individual pipers and drummers to take part in the Stirling 900 Parade on Saturday 29th of March, 2025. We are aiming for 900 musicians and hope that you can join us on what will be a very special and memorable day for Stirling and participants.
Drop off time at Stirling Castle will be from approx.10am with the Parade stepping off at 12pm.
The parade will weave down through the city centre, over the historic Stirling Bridge and finish at Stirling Rugby Club where, after forming up in a 900 on the pitch for a great photo opportunity, we will have some hot drinks and food available for all participants.
An information pack (including a selection of familiar tunes) will be sent out to all participating bands and individuals. We also aim to put on shuttle buses for off-site parking, details will be explained in further communications.
Please can you send in your expression of interest (and any initial questions) by Friday 14th of February. We will then send you out a form to complete to help us with our event planning and to ensure that we send you out the most relevant information.
