Many thanks to the RSPBA Dundee Perth & Angus Branch for hosting and Kingdom Thistle Pipe Band supplies for sponsoring the competition on Saturday 5th April 2025. This was the fifth of the eight competitions which form part of the new RSPBA International Solo Drumming Circuit and was contested across 12 sections for Adult and Juvenile Snare and Tenor Drummers.
Adult European Snare Drumming Championship
In first place, and The Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association, European Champion for 2025 is Kerr McQuillan People’s Ford Boghall & Bathgate Caledonia.
- 2nd place – Stephen Creighton St Laurence O’Toole
- 3rd place – Alex Buchanan Field Marshall Montgomery
- 4th place – Craig Lawrie Uddingston
- 5th place – Robbie Pate Peoples Ford Boghall & Bathgate Caledonia
- 6th place – Ewan McDonald Peoples Ford Boghall & Bathgate Caledonia
- 7th place – Lachlan Gibb Culter & District
- 8th place – Robbie Crow Uddingston
- 9th place – Scott Coyle Peoples Ford Boghall & Bathgate Caledonia
These competitors are now qualified to enter the RSPBA World Solo Drumming Championship in October 2024. Also, the top six places secure points towards the 2024 RSPBA Adult World Solo Snare Drumming Champion of Champion title.
Adult European Tenor Drumming Championship
- 1st place – Jill Watson Peoples Ford Boghall & Bathgate Caledonia
- 2nd place – Heather Allan Livingston Caledonia
- 3rd place – Megan Arbuckle Kilbarchan
