Ciaren Ross – Piper

Ciaren Began his piping journey at the age of 4 where he was taught by his father, Pipe Major Gordon Ross. Ciaren was soon strongly involved within the solo circuit where he started to pick up some major prizes. By the age of 16, Ciaren found himself competing within the B grade circuit. Ciaren has won the MSR at London, The SPA and many more. More recently, Ciaren won the B MSR at the northern meeting upgrading him to A grade for light music.

After graduating from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a First Class Honours, Ciaren is the full-time piping instructor at Glasgow City Council, where he hopes to embark on a new journey in creating a new school band in the coming years, along with his current band, Shotts and Dykehead.
