2017 Summer School

The Royal Scottish Pipe Band Summer School 2017 will be held in Glasgow Gaelic School from Monday 31st July until to Friday 4th August. The 2017 Summer School is aimed at encouraging our young pipers and drummers to achieve their ambitions as a solo piper or drummer and also to be successful in the pipe band competition arena. In recent years, Summer School has been hugely enjoyable for all the students who take part. We hope that this year’s event will be even better by bring some of the best piping and drumming tutors to work with our students.
Last year, for the first time in the Summer School’s history, we had five Drum Majors participating in the Summer School. The programme for the drum majors was designed to suit all levels - from those aspiring to be a Drum Major, to those currently competing and who would like to further enhance their skills. This year, we hope to attract more drum majors.
Anyone who is interested in attending Summer School 2017 can register before 3rd July 2017.
