The 2019 championship season continued with the United Kingdom Pipe Band Championships in Lurgan, Northern Ireland.

94 pipe bands and 37 drum majors from Denmark, USA, Canada, Netherlands, Eire, England, Northern Ireland and Scotland competed in cold and very wet conditions for the second championships title of the new season.

In the premier Grade 1 event St Laurence from Eire were crowned the 2019 United Kingdom Champions and made it a double celebration also lifting the best drum corps, their success came with four first placings from the adjudicators. Field Marshal Montgomery finished in the runners up spot whilst Inveraray and District, Scottish Power, Peoples Ford - Boghall and Bathgate Caledonia, Field Marshal Montgomery and Police Scotland Fife completed the prize list.

The Adult Drum Major title was won by Emma Barr from Field Marshal Montgomery.

Jamie Cupplies from MacKenzie Caledonian won the Juvenile grade whilst Louis Anderson from New Ross and District (Eire) took his second title of 2019 winning the Junior grade.
