Many thanks to the BC Pipers’ Association for presenting and to ScotfestBC for hosting the competition on Saturday 15th June 2024. The competition was held at the British Columbia Highland Games, Towne Centre Park in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada.
This is the fourth of the eight competitions which form part of the new RSPBA International Solo Drumming Circuit and was contested by; Blair Brown, Camerson Lawson and Eli Fugate.
RSPBA Director Alistair McCleary from Northern Ireland overseen the Competition and drew the sets to play for each competitor via an online link.
Fantastic Prizes were also sponsored by both ScotFestBC and the BCPA.
Results
Adult RSPBA Pacific Rim Snare Drumming Championship;
1st place Blair Brown Simon Fraser University – Canada
2nd place Cameron Lawson Inverary and District – Scotland
3rd place Eli Fugate St Lawrence O’Toole – Eire
These competitors are now qualified to enter the RSPBA World Solo Drumming Championship in October 2024 and secure points towards the 2024 RSPBA Adult World Solo Snare Drumming Champion of Champion title.
