The Chairman and the Board of Directors of the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Alison Burke to the post of Operations Manager/Chief Executive designate.
Chairman Kevin Reilly said “Dr Alison Burke joins us from being the Park and Project Manager at Dalkeith Country Park where she has been working on major infrastructure projects for the last 3 years for Buccleuch. Prior to this, Alison held posts at the National Trust for Scotland where she was voted Pride of Aberdeen Business Personality of the Year and won the Innovation in Tourism Award and the Working in Partnership Award for her work at Drum Castle. Alison is also committed to education having lectured in Classical Theatre for 10 years, as well as having launched several award-winning Museum Education programmes. Alison will be a great asset to our team, and we look forward to her joining us in January 2022”
