The Chairman and Board of Directors of The Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association are in the unfortunate position of announcing that Dr Alison Burke, Operations Manager/Chief Executive Designate, has withdrawn from the position. After several weeks of familiarisation with the role, she felt it was not what she expected when she accepted the position.
The Board of Directors wish to thank Alison for her input into our organisation in the short time she has been with us and extend their best wishes for the future.
We are pleased to say that Ian Embelton has agreed to remain in post until the Board of Directors review the situation.
