A special welcome to Steven McWhirter who has joined us on day four of our 2023 “Wake Up, Shake Up Summer School”.
Steven spent some time with all of our drumming students, first in the class room he discussed how to develop and execute some key rudiments. Steven presented a master class for all of the Summer School students on his approach to the design and construction of pipe band medleys from an ensemble perspective and how he prepares and rehearses for his solo work; leading to the overall performance.
