The RSPBA Scottish Solo Drumming Championship 2025

Many thanks to the RSPBA Lothian & Borders Branch for hosting and sponsoring the competition on Saturday 29th March 2025 for Juveniles and Adults. This was the third of the eight competitions which form part of the RSPBA International Solo Drumming Circuit.

Results
Adult Scottish Snare Drumming Championship:

  • 1st place – Kerr McQuillan People’s Ford Boghall & Bathgate Caledonia
  • 2nd place – Craig Lawrie Uddingston
  • 3rd place – Jake Joergensen Scottish Power
  • 4th place – Gavin Orr Johnstone
  • 5th place – Camerson Lawson Inveraray & District
  • 6th place – Darren Brown Inveraray & District
  • 7th place – Robbie Pate People’s Ford Boghall & Bathgate Caledonia

These competitors are now qualified to enter the RSPBA World Solo Drumming Championship semi -final October 2025.  Also, the top six places secure points towards the 2025 RSPBA Adult World Solo Snare Drumming Champion of Champion title.

Adult Scottish Tenor Drumming Championship

  • 1st place – Jill Watson Peoples Ford Boghall & Bathgate Caledonia
  • 2nd place – Heather Allan Livingston Caledonia
  • 3rd Place – Donelsa McNeil Denny & Dunipace Pipe Band Association
  • 4th Place – Megan Arbuckle Kilbarchan

European Solo Snare and Tenor Championship for Adults and Juveniles on Saturday, 5th April at Lochgelly High School, Fife.
Oceania Solo Snare Championship for Adults and Juveniles on Saturday, 5th April at Christchurch, NZ.
