2025 Theme: New Horizons
The RSPBA Summer School is aimed at supporting pipers and drummers to fulfil their potential as stars of the future in the pipe band scene. We encourage participants to aim higher in their quest for knowledge, to aim higher in improving their playing skills and to improve their performance in the competition arena.
Summer School showcases the learning which our Association promotes. Our tutors place a huge emphasis on performing by supporting participants in improving their skills in playing their bagpipes and drums. The programme also includes sessions on reading and writing music, understanding time and learning about Rhythm, Melody and Harmony.
However, Summer School also offers the three “𝐅’s” – 𝐅inding out, 𝐅riendship and 𝐅un!
