A Vice Chairperson supports the Chair, acting as their deputy by taking over meetings and duties in their absence, sharing the leadership load, and ensuring smooth board function, often handling conflict resolution, strategic planning input, and representing the organization at events. Key duties include chairing meetings when needed, mentoring new members, maintaining board cohesion, and assisting with governance oversight, training, and external representation.

Applicants must be registered members of a band within the London & South of England Branch.  This can be a playing or committee member.
